Individual counseling creates a safe space for processing and exploring one’s unique journey and healing process. During therapy, the counselor and client will work together to create goals that will aid the client in positive change.
There are many different approaches to individual therapy, and it is important to find a therapist that practices in a way that resonates with you and the issues you'd like to speak with them about.

Couples therapy provides couples the opportunity to address a wide range of relationship issues, including: recurring conflicts, feelings of disconnection, infidelity, issues related to sex, difficulties due to external stressors, etc.
During couples therapy, partners gain insight to understand and resolve problems, and navigate conflict in their relationship.
The goal of couples therapy is to improve connection, realign expectations of the partnership, learn skills to prevent conflict, and feel more safe and secure within the relationship.

EMDR therapy is utilized to treat clients that have experienced trauma by involving bilateral stimulation to process traumatic events and memories in order to reduce the intensity of associated emotions and physical sensations.
Therapists use EMDR therapy to address a wide range of challenges:
Anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias
Depression and bipolar disorders
Dissociative disorders
Grief and loss
Personality disorders
PTSD and other trauma and stress-related issues
Sexual assault
Substance abuse and addiction
Violence and abuse
Acute stress responses (fight, flight, freeze, or fawn) are the body’s natural response to traumatic events. However, when distress from a disturbing event remains, the upsetting thought, emotion, or images may create an overwhelming feeling of being back in that moment or “frozen in time.” EMDR therapy assists and reinforces the brain to process this distress and resume normal healing. With healing, the memory of the experience no longer activates your nervous system’s fight, flight, freeze, or fawn response.
-
Sex therapy is much like traditional talk therapy but with a specific focus on the emotional and mental impact of sex and sex-related issues. Sexual dysfunction, no matter the cause, often results in negative self-concept, poor emotion regulation, and unclear boundaries within relationships. Sex therapy generates a safe space to explore those barriers and improve one’s overall sexual attitude.
Potential reasons for sex therapy:
Sex-related trauma
Gender Identity
Sexual Orientation
Anorgasmia
Desire Discrepancy
Premature Ejaculation
Erectile Dysfunction
Painful Sex (vaginismus, pelvic floor disorders)
Guilt and Shame surrounding sexual concepts
Kink and monogamy arrangements
Infidelity recovery

ERP is considered the gold standard treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Exposure refers to exposing yourself to thoughts, images, objects, and situations that make you fearful or anxious. Response Prevention refers to making the conscious choice to not engage in a compulsive behavior/ avoid a situation. This is a safe practice done under the supervision of your therapist in the beginning stages and throughout treatment.
The OCD cycle consists of having an obsession, experiencing anxiety, leading one to engage in a safety seeking behavior (compulsion), to then provide brief/temporary relief. Although you may experience some relief after a compulsion, engagement in compulsions actually reinforces the obsession for later. The more one engages in compulsions, the more the OCD cycle will continue leading one to feel stuck and consumed by compulsions. ERP treatment will slowly allow you to face your fears and prove to yourself that you can tolerate discomfort. Overtime, facing your fears without engaging in compulsive behaviors/avoidance, your anxiety levels will drop naturally. This will allow you to feel free of the imprisonment of OCD.
ERP is not limited to OCD treatment. ERP can also effectively treat:
Anxiety disorders
Unwanted intrusive thoughts
Phobias
